Sekilas Tentang Necmettin Erbakan University
Necmettin Erbakan University didirikan pada tahun 2010 dengan nama Universitas Konya, berjarak 8 jam perjalanan darat dari bandara internasional Istanbul. Memiliki 6 Fakultas (Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Fakultas Sains, Fakultas Aeronautika dan Astronautika, Fakultas Teknik dan Arsitektur, Fakultas Sosial dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Manusia dan Pariwisata ), 3 Institut (Institut Ilmu Pendidikan, Institut Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Institut Ilmu Sosial) dan 1 Sekolah (Sekolah Bahasa Asing). Pada tahun 2011 didirikan Fakultas Pendidikan Ahmet Keleşoğlu, Fakultas Teologi Ahmet Keleşoğlu dan Fakultas Kedokteran Meram. Pada tahun 2012, nama universitas diubah menjadi Necmettin Erbakan University dan pada tahun yang sama, Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi, Fakultas Seni Rupa, Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan, Institut Ilmu Kesehatan, Konservatorium Negara Musik Turki, Sekolah Ilmu Terapan didirikan. Saat ini Necmettin Erbakan University memiliki sekitar 33.000 mahasiswa dan sekitar 1700 staff akademik dan pendukung.
